More sketch challenges

It's the beginning of a new month, which means new scrapbooking challenges across the internet. My favorite challenges involve sketches, and already I've found some great ones.

I used the February 1 layout sketch on the Rubber Buggy Challenge Blog for my first layout. This is the sketch. I liked the simple "bones" of the sketch, which left room for adding extra elements.

This is my layout. I rotated the photos to a vertical orientation to accommodate these great photos from my oldest daughter. The papers and embellishments are mostly from Crate Paper's Show & Cocoa collection:

I used this sketch (February 1) from Stuck?! Sketches for my next layout. Here's a look at the sketch:

And this is my layout -- featuring the first"picture" of our grandson, who's due in mid-May. I used the November and January kits from Citrus Twist Kits:

I used the February 1 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy for this layout. I also used the November kit from Citrus Twist: to show off this adorable official photo of the lion cub triplets at our local zoo. I've also used the layout to satisfy a challenge on Mercytiara's 27-day scrapbook challenge on Facebook:

Thanks for stopping by; have a wonderful day!
