Under the Big Top
The August kits from Citrus Twist Kits included some "Carousel" patterned paper and ephemera from Crate Paper. My youngest daughter (who's now a 29-year-old wife, mother and information technology specialist) has always loved the circus. In 7th grade she was a member of her school's DARE clowns group and loved it so much that I found a weekend-long clown training event in Ohio for her. We had a wonderful weekend meeting both amateur and professional clowns of all ages. My daughter invented her clown character, "Oopsie Daisie" for the Saturday parade. When we came home, my 7th grader launched what would become a busy and successful birthday and event clown business for three years.
I have a pretty good collecton of Oopsie Daisie photos and although I've scrapped them several times, I couldn't resist another layout using some of these luscious goodies. I used a sketch #288 from Sketches in Thyme to create a page showing Oopsie's "looks" over a three-year time span:
Every baby needs at least ONE "messy face" photo; this one shows the remain of my youngest granddaighter's chocolate doughnut and banana breakfast. The sketch and the kit are from CItrus Twist Kits:
As always, thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
