I was fortunate to win the June random prize drawing at Mercy Tiara's 27 Day Scrappy Challenge on Facebook, which meant I got to choose the July challenge. Since July was "family month" when my kids were growing up, I centered the challenge around a family get together or event.
Here's my layout for that challenge, which called for two photos of family/friends getting together; the colors red, white and blue; four patterned papers and the word "family" in the title:
I used the July main kit from CitrusTwist Kit Club for this layout, which actually answered requirements for three challenges. It worked for the TicTacToe challenge, also on Mercy Tiara's challenge page; and for a challenge on the Cookin' Up Creations forum. This month's theme on CUC is "Sesame Street", with a challenge on Wednesday and one on Saturday. There's still time to join in the July challenges, and everyone is welcome.
This next layout also meets three challenges. I created it for this month's color challenge on Rochelle Spears' blog. In turn, this challenge may be combined with Brenda Ragsdale's rewind sketch challenge, which is where I got the PageMaps sketch. And last but not least, it fits another challenge at Cookin' Up Creations. I use Photoplay's "Paper Dolls'collection and a few things from my stash. The little firecracker is my youngest grandchild.
Thanks for looking; have a wonderful day!
