Since our kids and grandkids are back in the Midwest, we had a quiet weekend herein southern Colorado, I managed to finish five scrapbook pages with the April main kit, embellishment and patterned paper add-ons from Citrus Twist Kits and photos snagged from Facebook.
Our oldest daughter and her family visited two weeks ago from Minnesota. I scrapped a double layout with photos they took at the zoo. The sketch was an older one from Susan Stringfellow's SketchSavvy blog. I chose this sketch beccause I liked the wonky strips; it was a lot of fun to work with,
This is my layout, I created the giraffe, sunflowers and sign with the Silhouette Cameo,
My mom's cat (both of them live with us) was curious about the construction of the zoo layout and decided to "help" me choose patterned paper, It seems she was especially drawn to a yellow one, I snapped a couple of photos and used this sketch from the Citrus Twist Kits blog:
Here's my helper in action:
I used another Citrus Twist sketch and the April kit for this quick layout of two of my grandkids riding the new bikes they received for their birthdays. (My daughter beheaded her poor spouse with her camera LOL
Here's the sketch:
The little metal bike has been in my stash for years; glad to finally find a home for it.
And when I saw these photos yesterday morning on Facebook, I knew I had to scrap them NOW, Some family friends babysat youngest granddaughter Charleigh one evening recently, and she came home with that cuddly bunny. I used this sketch from Sketches in Thyme:
And here's my layout, using as many of the fun patterns from the April Citrus Twist kit as I could fit in there, The bunny sticker and the hot air balloon were in the kit; so fun!
That's all for today (and you probably are thinking "That's enough!") Thanks for visiting; have a great week!
