I used the first November sketch (#171) on the Sketches in Thyme blog. I've always loved scrapping with Shawn's sketches, and this was no exception. This is the sketch:
And here is my layout. I have tons of embellishments left but not a whole lot of Halloween paper, so I went heavy on the stickers, flairs and other bits and pieces. The photo of my grandson and his friends seemed to call for a bit of crazy, anyway,
I also scrapped these two layouts earlier in the week during my packing breaks. Both used supplies and sketches from Citrus Twist Kits. The first one also used more of that Halloween stash.
Hoping to get the rest of the scrap room packed up and ready for the moving van tonight, or tomorrow at the latest. One benefit of moving is that it's a great motivation to purge all of those supplies that have been hanging around for a while. Two large boxes of leftover kits, paper, cardstock, embellishments and some little 6x6 mini albums (just waiting for some mini pages!) are heading tomorrow to our local shelter for abused women and their children. Freedom House is a wonderful place offering shelter, guidance and support to victims of domestic violence. The Thursday night art group hopefully will put everything to good use. It's so much easier letting go of my hoarded stuff when In know it's getting a great new "home".
Thanks for looking; have a great day!
